I’ve had a passion for photography since my mid-teens in the ’90’s. I would take pictures of the most random things while learning so when my sisters saw the movie, Pecker, with his random captures of every day life, they instantly thought of me.
I bought my first Canon SLR camera while I was in the Army and once had a Lieutenant Colonel scold me for taking photos during a live-fire excercise. I’ve had plenty of people scold me since, including policemen and security guards, but, like Nan Goldin said, “If I want to take a picture, I take it no matter what”.
Once out of the US Army, I moved to Atlanta, where I’ve been capturing special moments for friends, for local businesses, clubs, restaurants & venues, and for the hell of it, ever since.
But, mostly for the hell of it.
