Usually, when the fashion industry looks for models to change, it’s more towards a pristine, sinewy look that’s meant to make the walking clothes hangers more palatable. I guess their audience is changing. Just like tattoos are becoming more the norm, but not on runway models — ok, maybe some — someone’s wagging tongue wagged enough to change this year’s it thing into models with gapped teeth as being on trend.
Yeah, that is great and all; usually. But this is the fashion industry. Women will be running out to artifically gap their teeth, as the WSJ is reporting.
So what are your thoughts?
I feel women will feel stupid if they really do go through with this, when next years hot look is knobby knees. But if your gap is natural, at least it serves more purpose for NYC models other than to call a cab.
